Nature’s Logic is celebrating five years of making high-quality, 100% natural foods for dogs and cats. Other pet food companies add these man-made nutrients to achieve the nutrient profiles established by AAFCO. “By adding man-made nutrients instead of using whole food ingredients,” explains Freeman, “manufacturers can achieve the recommended levels less expensively, creating more profit for the pet food company.
